Kehlani dropped her mixtape While We Wait back in February and one of the songs that stood out was “RPG” featuring vocals from 6lack. Today, Kehlani released the sci-fi themed video which drew inspiration from Netflix’s mystery drama “The OA”.
The video shows Kehlani confined in a box pouring out her feelings. 6lack comes through later on in another box and writes “2/19/17” on a glass board.
Kehlani recently welcomed her newborn baby a couple weeks ago where she announced the special moment on Instagram.
“This weekend our angel arrived healthy & perfect in every way in our bathroom at home,” she wrote. “Unmedicated home birth was the absolute hardest yet most powerful thing I’ve ever done. thankful beyond words. In love beyond comparison. Refraining from posting to be family and rest, we just wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent well wishes, love, and support in all forms while waiting & working to bring Adeya earthside.”
