Rachel Foxx is a new artist from East London. Foxx has a new EP, 7-track album out. This EP is called “Wish” which is produced by Sunny Kale and written by Rachel Foxx. Her vocals show off her R&B talent by overlaying a sophisticated edge over decadent, deep vocals and a playful beat added in by Sunny Kale.
Rachel has commented about the track that, “I wrote this song about being with someone but thinking about someone else. It’s like when you’re not over your ex so you date someone else and they can kinda remind you of them but it’s not them.”
Rapper DON.E is featured in the song “Mistress.” This was the follow-up song to the first steamy single. “Mistress” has received all-around support, including platforms such as Hunger, DJ Target, Line of Best Fit, Fader, Jamz Supernova’s Weekend Anthem and High Snobiety. So far, 2018 has been the year for Rachel to push out her new music at live events, such as her own show headliner at Camden Assembly. This show is called, “Everything East Presents…Rachel Foxx.” One of her more recent performances has been at Jamz’s club night Future Bounce. Also, she has appeared at Snowbombing and BBC Introducing@The Ned.
Previously, Foxx has had two other EP releases that was Blue Moon+Rachel Foxx, EP. Toddla T, a mentor and friend, has helped with several strong singles. Complex UK, with Ones to Watch Tips, has helped Foxx shape her unique sound and her fiery, R&B laced vocals.
